How does aircon work?
Air from the room is sucked in to the indoor unit, through a filter and over the chilled/ heated heat exchanger pipes, this cools/ heats the incoming air (In cooling mode dehumidification can also occur).
A fan then blows the treated air in a controllable direction back into the room. A sensor monitors the air and controls the heating/ cooling output to achieve the temperature you have asked for.
How long does aircon take to install?
This can all depend on the size of your home and the number of indoor units you have installed.
A standard air conditioning system can take from as little as one day but a multi-room system installation time can be around 3-5 days.
Are air conditioning units noisy?
The average sound pressure of a 2.5kW wall type indoor unit is around 33dBA, outdoor unit around 50dBA at maximum speed.
